My Mission is children’s health, development, and wellbeing

A Journey Born from Experience

Long before I became a parent, I had my own experience of living in a body that wasn’t functioning as it should.

I struggled with ongoing health challenges that conventional medicine was unable to fully explain or resolve, including anaemia, gastrointestinal issues, persistent health anxiety, and what was later recognised as undiagnosed ADHD. I was offered reassurance and symptom-based solutions, but rarely invited into a deeper understanding of what was happening beneath the surface.

Those unanswered questions stayed with me.

After my son experienced a significant medical challenge early in life and later struggled to meet developmental milestones, I found myself facing the same limitations in conventional conversations. I wasn’t looking for a label to explain away what I was seeing. I wanted to understand what his body needed in order to develop with more ease, resilience, and capacity.

That search led me into deeper study of nutrition, brain development, gut health, and nervous system regulation — this time through the lens of early childhood. It reshaped the way I understood development, behaviour, and learning, and revealed just how closely a child’s ability to thrive is connected to nourishment, immune health, and regulation.

Through working alongside integrative practitioners and applying this knowledge within my own family, I saw how meaningful change becomes possible when we support the foundations of the body rather than focusing solely on symptoms.

Education & Training

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and have completed further professional training to become certified in functional nutrition, with a particular focus on brain development, gut health, and the nervous system. I am also certified in neuroscience and mindfulness, and my work brings these fields together in a way that is practical, grounded, and centred on the real lives of children and families.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (BSc Hons)
  • Certified in Neuroscience & Mindfulness – NeuroMindfulness Institute

  • Brain Health & Applied Neuroscience Training – The Neuroscience Academy

  • Child Development & Interpersonal Neurobiology Training – Dr Dan Siegel

  • Intensive I: Making Sense of Kids – Neufeld Institute

  • Certified Functional Nutrition Consultant - Food Matters Institute
  • Functional Medicine for Kids training - Mindd Foundation

My work is about restoring curiosity, understanding, and support.

I help parents make sense of what they’re seeing, calm the nervous system, strengthen foundational health, and move forward with clarity and confidence. There are no quick fixes here, but there is deep respect for the child, the family, and the body’s capacity to heal and develop when given the right conditions.

I am the founder of Well Nourished Kids, where I support families in building strong foundations for brain health, regulation, and lifelong wellbeing.

When you nourish the brain, you support everything your child is becoming.
